Five major airlines have announced expanded services at Palm Springs International Airport (PSP) just since May of 2018 to accommodate the 2.2 million total passengers estimated in the coming year.
- Beginning in December, Delta Airlines will offer flights from Atlanta and United Airlines will offer nonstop flights for New York/Newark.
- American Airlines will offer a second daily flight to Chicago, starting in October. The airline also added a red-eye from Palm Springs to Dallas Fort Worth for the summer season, which began in June and will continue until Aug. 20.
- Also in October, JetBlue will continue its nighttime nonstop flights to and from Palm Springs and New York City.
- In May, Alaska Airlines added flights from Palm Springs to New York, Portland and Seattle.
Some hotels, with staff always dedicated to excellent service, will even pick up and drop off at the airport. Be sure to ask if you need a ride.
