What pairs perfectly with palm trees and sunshine? The perfect meal, of course!
Palm Springs has some new offerings that will pique your interest as well as your appetite. From bold flavors and creative fusions to traditional fare, here are the new restaurants making your time in Palm Springs even more delicious.
Ash & Vine
Located behind the Plaza at the former French Miso Café location, Ash & Vine is serving up creative dishes with bold flavors, often fusing Asian and Italian fare. The menu changes regularly, with recent highlights including bo kho rigatoni (a Vietnamese-inspired bolognese) and birria de Borrego. The brunch options are equally inventive, satisfying both sweet and savory cravings: a deconstructed lox and bagel salad, garden greens benny with burrata and pink peppercorn hollandaise, and a luscious lemon meringue French toast.
Since opening in October 2025, Ash & Vine has already garnered acclaim, being featured in Travel and Leisure’s Best Restaurants in their essential guide to Palm Springs.
Quietly tucked away from the bustle of downtown, the cozy patio dotted with fairy lights and lush bougainvillea provides the perfect setting for a romantic date night.
Open daily for brunch from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. (walk-in only) and dinner from 5 to 9 p.m. (reservations recommended).
Bougainvillea Fresh Cuisine
Bougainvillea Fresh Cuisine at Sunrise Place — the plaza where Aspen Mills and Monsoon Indian Cuisine reside — offers diners intimate outdoor patio or cozy indoor space. Sit at the bar for a front row view of the open kitchen in action. The lively energy and comfortable setting makes it feel like stepping into a welcoming family gathering.
Like the restaurant’s size, the menu is modest yet varied. Start with with lightly fried calamari served with refreshing marinated cucumber, tomatillo relish, and jalapeño aioli. Continue with house-made rigatoni tossed in pesto with sausage, asparagus, cherry tomatoes, and the perfect sprinkling of pine nuts, or opt for the white bolognese with pappardelle that melts in your mouth. Carrot cake that sells out quickly or profiteroles with silky ice cream are a sweet treat to complete the experience.
Open Tuesday-Friday for lunch, 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.; Sunday-Thursday for dinner, 5 to 9 p.m., and Friday and Saturday for dinner, 5 to 10 p.m.
Livs Palm Springs
This bright and sunny café is located inside the Palm Springs Art Museum. Diners can choose vibrant indoor seating or soak up the sunshine outside while enjoying their meal in the sculpture garden. The restaurant serves up brunch Thursdays through Mondays, and the presentation lives up to its surroundings as edible art.
Their most famous dish is the herbs and flowers French omelet with potato pavé. Other favorites include the curried chicken salad sandwich and the Chef’s Breakfast, where perfectly poached eggs lie on a bed of steamed rice, garnished with pickled ginger, shallots, furikake, black garlic shoyu, and chili crunch – a delightful balance of flavor and texture. Finish with some sweetness, like the warm and gooey Nico’s almond chocolate chip cookies.
Enjoy Pizza & Prosecco Nights on Thursdays, along with free entry to the museum. Walk off any extra calories by heading over to the nearby VillageFest.
Open Thursday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Friday-Monday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Hunny’s Restaurant and Bar
Got a craving for comfort food? Formerly Grand Central Station, Hunny’s Restaurant and Bar serves hearty diner-style dishes at its location on La Plaza. Country-fried steak, chicken pot pie, and house-baked apple pie a la mode are amongst the most highly rated. Choices extend from classic pancakes and benedicts to contemporary ahi poke bowls and breakfast wraps. A range of salads, sandwiches, and pizzas round out the savory lunch and dinner options, while those with a sweet tooth can choose from more homemade pies, cakes, and cookies to finish the meal.
Dance off dinner with Hunny’s Hoedown every Monday. This line dancing event runs from 6 to 10 p.m. and is open to all ages.
Open 7:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily.
So-Cal Sunset
Opened in 2026, So-Cal Sunset boasts a large outdoor bar and patio with views of the San Jacinto Mountains. Perfect for a romantic sunset date and big enough for large parties to enjoy gathering. The sophisticated indoor dining room offers relief on chilly nights and hot days. Signature dishes include pan-seared sand dabs fillet and panko crusted petrale sole. Wash it all down with a refreshing margarita.
Looking for a more elevated vibe? Go upstairs to After Hours, a speakeasy lounge boasting a rooftop patio and Miami-inspired atmosphere. Sip on signature cocktails and nosh on upscale bites like ahi poke nachos and truffle fries.
