Mary Farah
When Mary launched her blog, Along Comes Mary, one of her goals was to work with Palm Springs. It’s only fitting given she grew up watching old movies with her grandma. Marilyn Monroe and Rock Hudson were her favorites. Fast forward, and she’s thrilled to be writing for Palm Springs Preferred Small Hotels.
Mary has been writing about food, wine, and travel since 2012. Having Celiac Disease, she especially enjoys writing about gluten-free friendly places and destinations.
Her work can be found in various online outlets as well as FWT Magazine. Mary is a proud member of IFWTWA, the International Food, Wine, and Travel Writers Association. A former Executive Board Member, she currently serves on their Conference and Editorial Committees.
A Los Angeles native, her favorite place to be is with her family. Mary and her husband recently welcomed their first child, Mabel Josephine.

Linda Milks
Linda specializes in exploring all that is food, wine, and travel with a hearty supply of curiosity and enjoyment. Connecting with people to learn about their activities, environment, culture, food and wine inspire her to write for others to capture the reader and rouse an interest in discovering new horizons. Sometimes it’s the hidden gems that bring Linda the most joy.
She has been published in Big Blend Radio and TV Magazine with a following of 1.4K and interviewed on Big Blend Radio Show. She has also written for FWT (Food, Wine & Travel Magazine.) Linda writes for her own website, Toastingfoodwinetravel.com.
Linda serves as a board member on the International Food Wine & Travel Association (IFWTWA) as the Treasurer. She is also a member of the Wine Review Council, a group that reviews, local, national, and international wines. Susan Montgomery
Susan Montgomery is a widely published writer who loves sharing her travels and experiences through upbeat, informative articles about fascinating destinations. While she has been writing and publishing throughout her career, her move from Wisconsin to Southern California almost ten years ago opened up many new opportunities for her work, which now focuses on food, wine and travel. In the last several years, she has posted more than 300 articles on her own website, Life-uncorked, and in many other publications.
Susan has a Master’s Degree in Journalism from Marquette University in Milwaukee. In her previous careers, she owned a publishing company, was a high school English teacher and college journalism professor, and worked in advertising and marketing. In addition, Susan wrote two biographies of artists published by the Museum of Wisconsin Art, and, with her husband, Todd, created a photography gift book, “What Really Matters Now,” published by Peter Pauper Press (White Plains, New York).
Susan is on the Board of Directors of the International Food Wine & Travel Writers Association. She has a special affection for Palm Springs and is very excited about exploring this inspiring town and sharing her experiences with others.
Kathy Condon
Kathy Condon is a Journalist and Travel Writer living in Palm Springs, California. As an eight-year resident of Palm Springs, she has a pulse on what is happening throughout Coachella Valley. She believed there was much more to do in Palm Springs than play golf and sit around the pool; thus, she started the Palm Springs Insider Guide so she could share the “What and How” to explore the area more thoroughly.
She is the author of two books: It Doesn’t Hurt to Ask: It’s All About Communication (named Best Book Finalist by US Book News) and Face -to-Face Networking: It’s All About Communication.
Kathy is a member of TravMedia, The International Association of Travel Writers and Photographers Association, and Travel Writers Café. She serves on the Eisenhower Health Center Dolores Hope Auxiliary Board.
Kay Kudukis
Former lead singer in a disco cover band turned Gaslight girl, turned actress, turned author of two produced, and wildly unacclaimed plays, and one likely-unseen teleplay, Kay Kudukis is a pragmatic optimist (read: Libra) who has found her bliss in Palm Springs offering honest and “meh”-revered reviews and articles for anyone who has an interest.
In addition to writing for stage, TV, and film. Kay contributes to Palm Springs Life, R/M Magazine, the official Modernism Week magazine, The Desert Sun, and Broadway World…and now, she also writes for Boutiquely Palm Springs.
