The Canyon Club Hotel is all about providing its guests with a fun experience.

The 32-room gay men’s clothing optional resort has a giant pool surrounded by misters, large spa, steam room, sauna, and a park in the back, complete with a maze.

“It’s a great place to relax,” assistant manager Tim Grimes said. “It’s a nice shady area for people who don’t want to be in the direct sun.”

The Canyon Club Hotel, built in 1957, is pet-friendly, and has eight rooms with private patios and eight with full kitchens. A continental breakfast is served every morning, and when it’s time to set out for lunch and dinner, downtown is just blocks away. Guests looking for suggestions on things to do and restaurants to try or in need of assistance at the hotel don’t have to go far for help — Canyon Club has some of the friendliest and most attentive staff in Palm Springs.

“We have great, repeat clientele,” Tim said. “People always enjoy it here, and we get a lot of visitors from Australia, Canada, and France. It’s close to downtown, close to the restaurants. It’s really convenient.”
